Real Estate Investor and Owner
Ryan Rice started his company with a story many of us can relate to: he was tired of the grind, working hard but always on someone else’s terms. For years, he had seen and felt the frustration of trying to make an impact within other people’s structures, following cultures he couldn’t shape himself. By late 2020, he knew he wanted to build something different, something he could stand behind fully.
In December 2020, he decided to spend a week in the mountains of Snowshoe, WV, to disconnect and search for clarity. Snowboarding during the day and reading Vivid Vision in the evenings, Ryan sketched out the kind of business he’d be proud to build—a company where the people, the culture, and the mission were driven by his own values. When he returned, he knew exactly what to do, and on January 1, 2021, he officially launched his real estate investment company focused on finding and renovating off-market homes
The company quickly grew, doing over 50 deals in its first year, then doubling that in the next. But as Ryan’s success and portfolio grew, he kept running into the same problem with third-party property management. Reports often fell short of what he needed, and he sensed a lack of transparency and proactive advice from the companies he worked with. So, in 2024, he expanded Yellow Card into property management, determined to do things differently. His goal was to create a management company that values clear communication and genuine partnerships with clients—giving property owners the confidence that their investments were being handled with care and insight.
Assistant Property Manager
Meet Alyssa, or as many know her, Coach Yssa. She joined Yellow Card Management in 2021 and quickly became a valued member of the team. Outside of work, Alyssa dedicates her time to a wonderful cause with RevAssist, where she helps people tackle their challenges, completely free of charge.
As a mom of two young girls, Alyssa understands the joys and struggles of balancing family life. She takes great pride in making sure her family feels loved and cared for, always striving to keep everything running smoothly at home. This nurturing spirit shines through in her role at Yellow Card Management, where she creates a supportive atmosphere for both property owners and tenants.
Alyssa’s journey began with a business administration degree from SCC. Her early career in the call center industry helped her build strong customer service skills, which she carries into her current role. With a blend of experience in customer relations and a keen understanding of property maintenance, Alyssa is a go-to resource for everyone at Yellow Card Management.
As the Assistant Property Manager, she oversees big renovation projects and helps with insurance claims. She also assists tenants with leases, payments, and property turnarounds. Alyssa’s diverse background in property management gives her the tools to enhance the maintenance department, ensuring everything runs as it should.
Through her work, Alyssa shows that caring for people—whether they are clients or family—makes all the difference. She believes that a little kindness goes a long way, and she brings that philosophy to every aspect of her life.
